Jacques Bermon Webster III (born April 30 1993) is a popular American rapper from the United States. His stage name is a fusion of the name a loved uncle, and the initials Kid Cudi (whose real identity is Scott Mescudi), Scott signed his first major label contract in 2012 with Epic Records. He signed a joint recording contract with Epic Records and T.I. in April 2013. Scott also signed a record contract with Epic as well as T.I. Scott's first long-form project, Owl Pharaoh, was self-released in the year 2013. In 2013 Scott self-released the mixtape Owl Phaoh. A second mixtape, Days Before Rodeo was released in 2014. Rodeo (2015) marked the release of his debut studio album. His hit single, "Antidote", was included on the album. The second album, Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016) achieved the first Billboard 200 top 100 album. Scott released Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016) alongside Quavo, under the collective name Huncho Jack. In the year 2018, Astroworld was released to high praise from critics. The album produced his first Billboard Hot 100 top 100 single, "Sicko Mode" feat. Drake. Scott's Cactus Jack Records album JackBoys debut on the Billboard 200 in late 2019. After the debut of his hit single "Franchise" (featuring Young Thug and M.I.A.) Scott became the first Hot 100 artist to have three songs reach the top of the list within a mere decade in 2020.
